Mungeli: Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu today inaugurated the newly constructed Siyan Sadan Bhawan in Anandashram premises in Ramgarh of Mungeli district. A fully equipped Siyan Sadan Bhawan has been constructed in Ramgarh at a cost of about Rs 20 lakh, which has a hall, two rooms and two toilets. In the program, 17 senior citizens of Anandashram were honored by presenting shawl and coconut.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao Addressing the inauguration program, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that in this newly constructed Siyan Sadan, our seniors will now be able to conduct their various activities systematically. Every person in our society should get the benefit of the treasure of experience that the seniors have. Sao said that today is a very special day for him. All the senior citizens, holding whose hands he learned to walk and read, are present here today. It is because of their blessings that I have reached this position. He instructed the officials to get a tubewell installed in the Siyan Sadan premises.
Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu said in the program that the elderly are the pride of our society. By imbibing their guidance, we can all do the welfare of our society and country. Quoting a verse from Ramayana, he underlined the role of the elderly. He said that the greatest gods in this world are our parents and gurus. Wherever we have reached today, it is all the result of their blessings. If the heart of the youth becomes happy after listening to the elders in any house, then understand that Ramrajya has arrived there.
