The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) frequently introduces new updates for the betterment of its crores of members across the country.

The EPFO also takes outmost care to solve the grievance of the members at the quickest possible time. For this, it takes different steps on regular basis. Now, it has shared some very important information which each and every member should know and get benefit of it.

As per the rules, uploading of bank passbook and cheque-leaf with online claim for ease of transaction was required for the KYC compliant accounts. However, the EPFO has changed the rule and informed about it on its official X handle.

“To ensure ease of transaction for members, uploading of bank passbook and cheque-leaf with online claim is not required for KYC compliant accounts,” the EPFO said in a post on the X handle.
