Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Gupta along with officials inspected the cleanliness system as well as construction work in Rewadih and Stadium wards on Thursday morning and gave necessary instructions. After taking information about the ward’s revenue collection, he appealed to the ward residents to pay the outstanding taxes. Commissioner Gupta reached Rewadih SLRM Center and checked the attendance sheet and after taking information about door-to-door garbage collection, asked the center in-charge to collect 100 percent user charge. He examined the compost machine and observed the process of making compost and said to ensure regular sale of compost, advise people to use it in pots and gardens at home, and give information about its benefits. After seeing the cleanliness in the ward, he told Health Officer Deepak Aggarwal that there are big colonies in the Stadium Ward where the government residences of senior officials are located.
Rewadih is a rural ward, hence instructions were given to ensure daily cleaning for the stipulated time, to take action against negligence in cleaning and to stop the salary of the person concerned if he does not show proper attendance. After taking information about the revenue collection in both the wards, Commissioner Shri Gupta instructed the ward in-charge to collect the revenue against the demand and said that the revenue should be collected from the colonies and hotels as per the rules and for the big defaulters, he should go with the team and make the recovery. During the inspection of the construction work, he inspected the house under construction under AHP, a component of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, near Tathagata Siddharth City in Rewadih and asked Executive Engineer UK Ramteke to direct the concerned contractor to speed up the work by increasing the number of workers. Similarly, after inspecting the stage under construction under MLA fund in Skan Vihar Colony, Muktidham Upgradation and expansion work of Gondwana Samaj Bhawan in RK Nagar, after taking information about the items and amount, he directed to complete the work soon, so that people can get its benefits. During the inspection, Assistant Engineer Pranay Meshram, Deputy Engineer Ashok Dewangan, Senior Sanitation Inspector Rajesh Mishra, Sanitation Inspector Deepak Srivastava, District Coordinators SBM Devesh Sahu and Keertan Sahu, Co-garden in-charge Dilip Giri, Prof. Patwari Milind Reddy were present.
