Raipur. While hearing the petition of retired IAS Anil Tuteja, arrested in the alleged excise scam case of the state, the High Court has upheld the Supreme Court’s order of no cursive action. On the petitions of former secretaries Niranjan Das and Vidhu Gupta, the ACB has assured that they will not be arrested before the next hearing.
The next hearing on this will be on May 8. The High Court has asked the ACB to file its reply within two weeks on the FIR lodged against businessman Anwar Dhebar. All of them had filed petitions in the High Court against the action of ACB and ED, which were heard in the division bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha on Thursday.
