IAS Aditi Garg: The Madhya Pradesh government has recently transferred many officers. After this, the names of the officers are in the headlines. One such officer is IAS Aditi Garg, who has been made the collector of Mandsaur. Earlier she was posted as Deputy Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office. Before taking over as Collector, she visited the Pashupatinath temple in Mandsaur and offered prayers. She prayed to Lord Pashupatinath Mahadev for prosperity in the area. Garg is a 2015 batch IAS officer. She hails from Dharwada village in Katni district. Her father OP Garg has also been the Director General of Police of Madhya Pradesh. IAS Aditi Garg graduated in Economics from Mumbai University in the year 2024. After this she went to the UK for higher education. She obtained a post graduation degree from the University of Warwick in the year 2006. After this Garg returned to India from the UK and worked as an IRS and IES officer. After this, she became an IAS by securing 54th rank in UPSC. In 2020, she wrote on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), “Five years ago, the UPSC result changed my life. Earlier, I used to work as a management consultant in London. After returning to India, I first joined IES, then IRS and finally IAS service. It was a very learning experience.” According to reports, Avi Prasad, who was the collector of Katni district, has been made the Under Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Government Ministry and Bhopal. 2014 batch IAS officer Dilip Kumar Yadav has been made the collector of Katni district. Yadav was earlier the collector of Mandsaur district. According to reports, 2009 batch IAS officer Avinash Lavania has been posted as Additional Secretary in CMO. He also had the additional charge of Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Road Development Corporation. 2016 batch IAS officer Anshul Gupta has been appointed Deputy Secretary, CMO, and has also been given additional charge of Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh State Electronic Development Corporation. Apart from these, many other officers have also been transferred.
