Hyundai Creta EV price announced before launch

Business Business: The main attraction on the first day of India Mobility Global Expo 2025, January 17, is the Hyundai Creta Electric. This electric SUV created a lot of stir even before its launch in the market. The company has already announced the details of this feature. It is also known that it will be equipped with multi-battery. At the same time, the company claims a range of more than 450 kilometers. In such a situation, the question arises, how much will it cost? But even before the publication, there were reports about the price. According to reports, its ex-showroom price could be Rs 1.5 lakh.

In fact, Hyundai COO Tarun Garg has indicated the price of the company’s next Creta Electric. In an interview on CNBC TV-18, he said that the company can price the Creta Electric between Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. Most of the small electric SUVs sold in the Indian market sell at this price. However, nothing has been publicly announced about the price.

The MG ZS EV is currently the most affordable electric SUV in the Indian market, with a 50.3 kWh battery and an ex-showroom price of Rs 16.5 lakh. At the same time, the Tata Curve with a 45 kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 17.50 lakh ex-showroom. At the same time, the Mahindra BE 6 with a 59 kWh battery is priced at Rs 18.60 lakh ex-showroom. We are happy to announce that the Hyundai Creta Electric will be available with 45kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs.

  1. High Performance: Like all electric vehicles in the market, the Creta Electric promises high torque and excellent acceleration. It offers better performance than the Creta N Line. The maximum power of the electric motor is only 171 hp. This car can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.
  2. Rain-sensing wipers: The Creta ICE came with automatic headlights but did not have rain-sensing wipers. The Creta Electric, meanwhile, will be launched with this feature.
  3. More storage space: Since the Creta Electric does not require a conventional transmission tunnel, Hyundai offers a floating centre console with extra storage space inside. While the boot space remains the same at 433 litres, the Creta Electric has an additional 22 litres under the hood.
