The facelifted Alcazar will be powered by a 1.5-liter GDI turbocharged petrol engine. This gives it 160 hp. and 253 Newton meters of torque. This means that the SUV will have a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Apart from the petrol engine, it will also have a 1.5-liter U2 CRDI diesel engine. This gives it 116 hp. and 250 Newton meters of torque. The option of 6-speed manual and automatic transmission will also be available.
The company has started booking the SUV even before its launch. This SUV can be booked from online or offline stores for Rs 25,000.
Hyundai will officially launch its new SUV in the Indian market on September 9. Only after this will we be able to get information about the prices. This SUV will directly compete with Mahindra, MG and Tata SUVs in the market.
