Hyderabad: CORP CON-2024, organized by Center of Corporate Derecho and D Competency, University of Derecho NALSAR and Institute of Secretaries of Companies of India (ICSI), concluded here on Sunday.
The three-day national conference on the theme “Escalation and Trends in Law and Corporate Governance” provided a platform for exchange of knowledge and collaboration focusing on the dynamic landscape of corporate governance, compliance and legal complexities.
Participating in the farewell session, Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar, President of the National Tribunal of Derecho de Sociedades, spoke on various laws. As said, the impact of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) depends on the diligence with which each actor plays his or her role.
He pointed out that the IBC has been a great success, but acknowledged that the deadline has been exceeded, hence there is a need to pay attention. He also said that, although there were no delays, there were questions in each case that needed to be resolved.
