Hyderabad: Teenager attacks girl with sickle after proposal is rejected, commits suicide

Hyderabad: Fed up with alleged molestation over her not accepting his love proposal, a minor boy attacked and killed a minor with a hammer in Amberpet and then committed suicide on the train tracks in Vidyanagar on Thursday night. The incident took place in Bagh Amberpet, when the girl and her younger sister were walking towards their home in the neighbourhood. The suspect (16), who was the first to argue with the girl, attacked her with a weapon. He also stabbed his sister, who tried to avoid being stabbed. Both were shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. He says that his condition is stable. Police sources said the suspect, fearing consequences, went straight to Vidyanagar railway station and committed suicide by falling in front of a moving train. The girl’s family alleges that the suspect had been caressing and caressing her for a long time. Police have registered the case and are investigating.
