Hyderabad: Residents of Hyderabad enjoyed pleasant cool climate with sporadic, adequate rains. Despite the duration of only 20 minutes to 30 minutes, it rained heavily, leaving the city drenched. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad, the temperature in the city is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, with the forecast predicting temperatures to remain between 33 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius till June 13. Heavy rain was recorded in Uppal, Tarnaka, Musheerabad, Begumpet, Ameerpet, Malkajgiri, Kapra, ECIL, Nagaram, Sainikpuri, Khairatabad, Tank Bund, Secunderabad, Himayatnagar, Jubilee Hills, Serlingampally, Sheikhpet, Madhapur, Sananthnagar.
Musheerabad recorded 34.5 mm of rain. This weather pattern is expected to continue on Sunday as well, with cloudy skies and light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely in the evening. On Saturday, Telangana districts like Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Yadadri, Nalgonda and Khammam received heavy rainfall. For Sunday, warnings have been issued for isolated areas of Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthy and Narayanpet districts indicating moderate rain, lightning and thunderstorm accompanied with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 kmph. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts. As the city continues to receive sporadic rainfall, residents have been advised to stay updated on the weather forecast and be prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions.
