Hyderabad: Sand mafia will not be spared, Konda Surekha warns

Hyderabad: Forest and Environment Minister Konda Surekha strongly condemned the attack on forest officials who were detaining people involved in illegal transportation of Akhara from the forest area of Yellandu forest division in Bhadradri district. – Kothagudem.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the minister assured that those involved in the attack will not be spared and strict action will be taken against them. He asked the officials to take appropriate steps and conduct a detailed investigation into the incident to avoid recurrence of such incidents in future. He said, “No one will forgive the culprits at any cost.”

On Tuesday, persons involved in illegal transportation of akhada attacked forest officials patrolling the forest area of Yelandu division, seriously injuring them.
