Hyderabad: Kites will not be flown on the roads in and around places of worship

Hyderabad: The police, through a notification, has banned the flying of comets in and around all roads and places of worship in the city in the interest of maintaining public order and public safety. Hyderabad Police Commissioner K Srinivas Reddy issued the orders and they will be in force from 6 am on January 14 to 6 am on January 16. The police also issued orders banning the use of speakers and DJs in public places or places, without obtaining permission from the police authorities concerned, as per Rule 8 of the Acoustic Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.
