Hyderabad: A two-year-old girl died after falling into a water pit on the outskirts of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A two-year-old girl drowned in a water-filled pit at the Telangana State Sports School at Hakimpet on the outskirts of the city on Friday. The girl was the daughter of the caretaker of the nursery located on the school premises. It is suspected that she had gone out to play when she accidentally fell into the pit filled with rainwater and died. When her parents realised that she was missing, they searched for her at all possible places but could not find her. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and began investigation.
