Tamil Nadu : The reorganization meeting of the Vijay Tamil Association was held at the Madurai Vishwa Tamil Sangam on Friday. Participating in it, poet Vairamuthu said: Vijay Tamil Parishad was started for Tamil and to spread our language to today’s young generation. I consider this organization successful. Some people feel that Tamils should not unite. Their wish will never be fulfilled. Today’s youth should develop their education and skills. Hope is life. We should not be afraid of criticism. If our actions are criticized, we should remember that we are growing. We should move forward thinking that there are people better than us in this world. Only then will our ability to learn and discover increase. Tiruvalluvar is the identity of Tamils. A great sage, he emphasized in Tirukkural that one should earn wealth through virtue. He says that the wealth obtained in this way should give pleasure to the person. We should also follow the same path. The young generation should take a pledge not to drink or smoke. Our goal should be to travel towards development. He said that water resources, land resources and physical resources are important if the society has to progress. Human resources are even more important. It is through human resources that we can achieve everything.
Earlier, Madurai District President of Vettri Tamil Peravai J. Suresh delivered the introductory address. Secretary Abhinath Chandran delivered the valedictory address. Computer teacher Paramakudi Senthil delivered the felicitation address.
Several council administrators, members, Tamil scholars, Tamil activists, college and school students attended the meeting.
