How will the villagers live without water, facing inconvenience
Kawardha. The government is running many schemes to strengthen the rural economy, but in Kawardha, public representatives and officials are leaving no stone unturned to make it fruitful. On one hand the government talks about development, on the other hand there is a village in the district which is shedding tears of its plight, there is no water to drink, the access road is raw and the arbitrariness of the contractor is clearly visible in the tap water scheme, At the same time, the school building of the village has also become completely dilapidated.
The development of any village is possible only when there is easy access to road, electricity and water, but since independence till now, a paved road could not be constructed in Parsaha, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Prabhatola, located just 15 kilometers away from the district headquarters. Even inside the village there is not a single pucca street. The villagers have to face a lot of problems during the rainy season. It becomes difficult to get out of the village because of the mud. The villagers requested the public representative and the administration several times to construct a paved road, but no one listened.
The same regional district panchayat member has accused the previous BJP government of neglect, while the collector of the district has assessed the village and assured to investigate the construction work under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Now it has to be seen how long the plight of this village goes away.
