Tamil Nadu: The government has issued a tender notice to select consultants for the construction of a green airport in Hosur, Krishnagiri district.
The Tamil Nadu government has decided to develop a greenfield airport on approximately 2,000 acres in Hosur. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced this in June last year. In this regard, the Tamil Nadu government has begun groundwork for the airport’s construction.
The Tamil Nadu government has initiated the process of selecting consultants to provide advice on the airport’s construction. The Tamil Nadu government has issued a tender for this purpose.
Based on the advice of the selected consultants, a detailed project report has been prepared and it has been decided to apply to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry.
