Hospital sealed for 30 days, CMHO took major action

Durg. Chief Medical and Health Officer Durg has taken major action against Shreya Hospital and Diagnostic for non-compliance of Nursing Home Act. They have stopped the operation of the hospital for a month. Earlier, many major actions have been taken in the district under the Nursing Home Act.

Some people had complained to Durg Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena that the patients admitted at Shreya Hospital and Diagnostic Center at Dhamdha in the district were not being treated properly. Not only this, the provisions of the Nursing Home Act are not being followed in the hospital. After the complaint, the collector wrote to CMHO Durg to investigate the matter. CMHO Dr. JP Meshram had sent the nursing home team here for investigation. The team found here during the inspection that the Nursing Home Act Rules 2010 and 2013 are not being followed by the doctors in initial treatment. After receiving the investigation report, on the instructions of the Collector, the CMHO took several major actions on Shreya Hospital and Diagnostic Center, ranging from fines to banning operations.
