Nalanda: A youth was murdered in Bihar’s Nalanda due to an illicit relationship. The case is from a village in Bhaganbigha OP of Rahui block. Police has arrested an accused in this case. The body was recovered from the well after 20 days on the information given by the arrested accused. Police has started a thorough investigation into the case. The family of the deceased is in a bad state. Meanwhile, the family is saying that the murder was due to money transactions. The deceased has been identified. Suraj Kumar was the 22-year-old son of Nandlal Sah, a resident of Helajot bus stand in Jhajha police station area of Jamui district. Suraj was missing from his home since June 9. On June 19, the family filed an FIR against three named and unknown people in Bhaganbigha OP, accusing them of kidnapping and making him disappear. After receiving the complaint, the police arrested the main accused Sanjay Paswan alias Rinku Paswan. Suraj’s body was recovered from the well on his information.
The deceased’s brother Suraj told that his brother was murdered in money transaction. Ghanshyam’s wife and brother-in-law called him. The arrested accused Sanjay Paswan alias Rinku Paswan had taken 1 lakh rupees. There was a dispute regarding the return of the money. While the local people are discussing that Suraj had an illicit relationship with a woman from the accused’s family. Due to this enmity, he was murdered and the body was made to disappear. After the disclosure of this murder, various kinds of discussions are going on in the area. The young man Suraj Kumar used to study in Patna but Suraj was having an affair with a married woman living in the neighborhood. The woman’s husband got wind of this. Due to which the husband was angry. The woman came to her maternal home with her husband on June 7 and the murder conspiracy was hatched here. The woman called her lover on June 9 on the pretext of seeing a fair and then Suraj came to the woman’s maternal home in Bokna village. Suraj was murdered there and the body was put in a sack and thrown into a well. In this case, Jhajha SHO told that on June 9, he left his house for Patna. On calling in the afternoon, he told that he has come to his friend Sanjay’s in-laws’ house in Bokna village. On calling at night and the next day, he did not pick up the phone. His mobile was switched off the next night. After a lot of interrogation, Suraj’s friends told that he often talked to Sanjay’s wife on mobile. It was alleged in the FIR that Sanjay called him by deceit and made him disappear. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem. Police is conducting raids to arrest other accused.
