Maharashtra: On Wednesday morning, a rickshaw collided with a container parked on the side of the road on Shilphata Road. Rickshaw driver Ashok Kumar (32) was injured in the collision and is undergoing treatment at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa, Thane Municipal Corporation. Ashok Kumar was driving his rickshaw from Shilphata to Panvel. There was no passenger in the rickshaw at that time. When his rickshaw reached the Royal Restaurant area of Shilphata, his rickshaw collided with a container parked on the side of the road. The accident was so severe that the front part of the rickshaw was shattered. Ashok Kumar was also seriously injured and remained stuck in the rickshaw. After receiving information about the incident, the traffic police and Shilphata-Daigarh police reached the spot. Ashok Kumar was taken out of the rickshaw with the help of Thane Municipal Corporation’s fire brigade. Ashok Kumar has been admitted to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa, Thane Municipal Corporation for treatment. Due to this accident, there was a traffic jam on the road. With the help of the system, the police teams moved the rickshaw to the side of the road, after which the traffic could become normal here.
