In this glorious sequence, 34-year-old daughter Ruchika Bhangalia, resident of Lower Khaira village of Palampur sub-division, has set a new record. Ruchika has made the country and the state proud on the international stage by successfully conquering South Korea’s highest and most inaccessible mountain peak ‘Hallasan’ (1,947 meters). After this historic and courageous achievement of his, an atmosphere of happiness, enthusiasm and pride is being seen in the entire Himachal Pradesh including Palampur. Ruchika Bhangalia completed this extremely challenging and tiring track on 8 July 2026 and scaled the highest peak of Hallasan and hoisted the victory flag there. Let us tell you that Mount Hallasan is not a common mountain, rather it is a very famous and active volcanic mountain, which is located on the beautiful Jeju Island of South Korea. This peak is known among mountaineers and nature lovers around the world for its unique natural beauty, rare biodiversity and extremely difficult and exciting trekking routes. The track of this volcanic mountain is as beautiful as it is dangerous and rocky, where climbing amidst changing weather every moment is the biggest test of courage of any climber. Ruchika, who accomplished this adventurous feat, is not only a mountaineer, but she is also a successful woman entrepreneur. Ruchika currently runs her own well-known startup ‘Pahadan Bakers’ living in the country’s capital Delhi and is its founder. Despite having a very busy and hectic schedule as a businessman, Ruchika has been completely dedicated to trekking and mountaineering for a long time. He struck a great balance between his work and his hobbies. Even amidst his professional commitments, he prepared himself for this campaign with the help of hard work, discipline and strong will and ultimately died after successfully completing this difficult campaign.
