Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu today held a review meeting with Cabinet Ministers to assess the performance of the concerned departments. He emphasised the State Government’s commitment to inclusive development of the State and highlighted the ongoing efforts to ensure that the benefits of development schemes reach all eligible people. He urged the ministers to ensure that the programmes and schemes launched by the State Government reach each eligible beneficiary, especially in remote areas. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri was also present in the meeting. Sukhu said that he is personally monitoring the implementation of key schemes and ensuring that the requisite assistance reaches all those in need. “To promote good governance, the State Government has launched the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme. The programme has been designed to bring government services closer to the people in rural and remote areas,” he said. He urged the Cabinet Ministers to adopt the mission of ‘Vyavastha Parivartan’ and work collectively towards making Himachal a self-reliant and prosperous state by 2032.
