Himachal Pradesh: Bilaspur district administration will organise a literature festival as part of the state-level Nalwari Festival that shall feature plays and skits written and directed by Himachali writers and artistes for the first time. Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar urged people to witness these theatrical presentations during the event. The dramas would be showcased on March 17 and 18 from 7 pm onwards at the Nalwari Festival stage.
On March 17, ‘The Beer’ written by Kapil Dev Sharma would be performed by ‘The Biginers’ art club at 7 pm, while ‘Khali Plate’, written and directed by Mohammad Inammullah and enacted by Vinod Sharma and Shivangi Raghu, would be presented at 8 pm.
On March 18, ‘Ek Ladki Paach Deewane’ directed by Abhishek Dogra would be presented by Udaan Theatre Group at 7 pm, while drama ‘Zehar’, written by Pankaj Soni and directed by Sanjay Sood, would be presented at 8 pm.
DC said that the Nalwari Mela Committee had made the best possible arrangements for the successful conduct of the event. He added that adequate security personnel would be deployed for the safe conduct of the festival and smooth flow of traffic.
