Himachal: Office staff and vehicles withdrawn

Himachal Pradesh: In compliance with the High Court of Himachal order, the state government today canceled the office accommodation given to the six Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPSs) and withdrew the staff deputed in their offices.

The High Court had ordered the immediate withdrawal of all facilities extended to the six CPSs and the government quickly issued orders for the withdrawal of their office staff, accommodation and official vehicles. “I have already surrendered the government vehicle, as per the High Court order. We were not given any other facilities,” said Baijnath MLA Kishori Lal, who was one of the CPSs. He was in Dharamsala accompanying Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena ordered the cancellation of the office accommodation allotted to the six CPSs in the state Secretariat.

The Chief Secretary issued a separate order withdrawing the services of the Private Secretaries and other staff posted in the offices of the six CPSs in the Secretariat. The Secretariat Administration also issued a separate order, withdrawing the services of 14 employees deputed with the CPSs.
