Himachal: Minister Dharmani flagged off the exposure trip

Himachal Pradesh: Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani flagged off two exposure trips for 30 underprivileged children from Bilaspur. The initiative under the Mukhyamantri Sukhashray Yojana aims to empower orphaned and destitute children. The children will visit historical sites including Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple in Amritsar, while a group of Divyang children will go on a religious pilgrimage to Naina Devi temple. Minister Dharmani emphasized that the program is a step towards a bright and self-reliant future for these children. He highlighted that Himachal Pradesh is the first state in India to introduce a special law for the welfare of orphaned children, providing comprehensive care including education, healthcare and basic necessities. Over 6,000 orphans have been adopted as “children of the state”, with the government ensuring their well-being and development.
