Himachal Pradesh: Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi today announced that the Himachal Pradesh Agro Industries Corporation Limited has achieved a turnover of Rs 33 crore (pre-audit) and a net profit of Rs 93.34 lakh (pre-audit) during the first five months of the current financial year. Presiding over the 262nd meeting of the corporation’s board of directors here, Negi said that during the same period in 2024-25, the corporation had recorded a turnover of Rs 40 crore and a net profit of Rs 92.25 lakh.
He said, “The corporation’s net profit is expected to increase further by the end of the current financial year.” The minister said that the corporation’s main sources of revenue include the trade of petroleum products, lubricants, tires and tubes, cement, and animal and poultry feed. He said that the corporation should not only strengthen its activities in the interest of farmers but also undertake innovative initiatives. He directed the concerned officials to explore the possibility of setting up a new petrol station in Nurpur, Kangra district.
