Himachal: 307 Agniveers passed out from Subathu training center

Himachal Pradesh: In a spectacular display of military accuracy and pride, 307 Agniveers of the fourth batch passed out from the 14 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) at Subathu here today. The Agniveers, who have sworn allegiance to the Republic of India, will now join the prestigious Gorkha Battalions of the 1st and 4th Gorkha Rifles of the Indian Army. These battalions have a rich and glorious military history of over 200 years of valour and sacrifice. Brigadier PP Singh, Commandant, 14 GTC, reviewed the passing-out parade, which marks the culmination of 31 weeks of rigorous training in physical fitness, combat and field craft, weapons and tactics. He urged the young Agniveers to keep the national and Indian Army flag high on all borders of the country.
