Business Business: Hero is preparing to launch two bikes in the Indian market. Neither company has started testing. These two bikes are Hero XPulse 210 and XPulse 400. Both were seen during testing at Khardung La Top in Ladakh. At first glance, it seems that the company wants this ADV to perform well not only off-road but also on touring. What are the features in both the bikes? The design is similar to the previously mentioned ADV bike. The large tank and its overall height are determined. The test bike features a visible front fender and top clamp. Inside you can see the 210cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine of the Karisma XMR. In this mode, the engine is set to different gears depending on the ADV capabilities. It is also likely to have the same LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity.
The upcoming Hero XPulse 400 can be a big bike. This bike was seen during testing with pillows and backpacks. The rear looks thicker than the XPulse 210 and the bike also has a wider rear tyre. It will likely feature a more versatile LCD console with smartphone connectivity and other connectivity features. Included
It is powered by the same air-oil-cooled 440 cc single-cylinder engine as the Hero Maverick 440. The rear gear is also larger, which could further improve low-speed performance. It could be launched early next year and the ex-showroom price could be around Rs 240,000.
