Ingredients to make Carrot Halwa
Carrot – 250 grams
Milk – 1 liter
Almonds – 8-10
Cardamom – 2 pinches
Sugar – 1 cup
How to make Carrot Halwa
To make carrot kheer, first wash and clean the carrots. After this, wipe them with dry cotton cloth. Now grate the carrots and keep them aside in a vessel. After this, cut the almonds into small pieces. Now put milk in a deep bottomed vessel and keep it to heat on medium flame. After cooking the milk for 2-3 minutes, it will start boiling. – After this, add grated carrots to the milk and mix. Now let the halwa cook for 4-5 minutes. When the pudding starts thickening, add two pinches of cardamom powder and sugar as per taste and mix. Now cover the pudding and cook on low flame for about 10 minutes. The pudding should be cooked until the carrots are soft and completely cooked. Carrot pudding is ready. If you like to eat cold halwa, then keep the carrot halwa in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. – After this, put the pudding in a serving bowl and serve it by adding almond pieces on top.
