The victim teacher Hanumant Sinha told that he teaches Hindi and Sanskrit subjects in Barbandha school. The headmasters of the primary and middle school of the school used to chew gutkha in the school daily, about which he made a video and complained to the department.
The teacher told that no action was taken against those who chewed gutkha, on the contrary, the officer suspended him for complaining. Dhamtari Collector Namrata Gandhi has called the complaint serious and said that an investigation will be done.
