Haryana: Three people were killed and seven injured in an explosion in a house in Ridhau village in Charchaura area of Sonipat district on Saturday. Police said fireworks were recovered from the spot. Officials said the house appeared to be used as an “illegal” fireworks factory. “We found materials used in firecrackers at the spot. Some people said a cylinder exploded. The FSL team has been called to investigate the matter,” Sonipat Deputy Commissioner of Police Jeet Singh told the media. According to him, three bodies were found and seven injured were admitted to a hospital. The owner of the house was taken into custody. Investigation is underway. More details are awaited.
