Maharashtra: Harshvardhan Patil joins NCP, Sharad Pawar comments on Supriya Sule’s Lok Sabha win: In the recently held Lok Sabha election, NCP candidate Supriya Sule defeated NCP candidate Sunetra Pawar in Baramati constituency by a huge margin. Meanwhile, former Cooperation Minister Harshvardhan Patil has said that “we also indirectly participated in Supriya Sule’s victory”. Harshvardhan Patil was in the Bharatiya Janata Party during the Lok Sabha elections and now he has joined the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar). At the time of entering the party, Patil said, “We also indirectly participated in Supriya Sule’s victory”.
This means that even when Patil was in the BJP, he contributed to Supriya Sule’s victory instead of Mahayuti candidate Sunetra Pawar. Today Harshvardhan Patil (Sharad Pawar) joined the Nationalist Congress Party in Indapur. Senior leader Sharad Pawar, MP Amol Kolhe, MP Supriya Sule, MP Darishsheel Mohite, Sharad Pawar faction’s regional president Jayant Patil were present in the program of joining this party. Sharad Pawar faction’s state president Jayant Patil inducted Harshvardhan Patal into the party. On this occasion, Harshvardhan Patal expressed his gratitude to Jayant Patal. Patil said, “Jayantrao and I have worked together for 15 years.
Today you are the president of this party and you made me a part of this party. I express my gratitude to you for this.” Harshvardhan Patil said, MP Supriya Sule is our sister and we are proud of her. Supriya Sule has become an MP four times. Earlier, when she became an MP three times, even then we had a direct contribution to her victory, a little bit. However, in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, we had an invisible hand in her victory. The audience laughed after Harshvardhan Patal’s speech. Patil said, “Before joining this party, whenever Jayant Patil and I used to meet, meet or talk, when we used to talk on the phone, Jayant Patil used to tell me why are you waiting there, come here instead. Everything takes time. Accordingly, today I have come to the NCP (Sharad Pawar) party.”
