Mathura. A half-burnt body of a youth was found in an iron box on the roadside in Raya police station area on Saturday. The deceased has not been identified yet. A few days ago, the dead body of a girl was found in Govardhan police station area. There is a possibility that both these murders may be related to each other. The police have intensified the investigation of the case.
A half-burnt body of a youth was found in an iron box on the roadside between Aligarh Mathura Marg outpost Vichpuri and village Ayera under Raya police station area on Saturday morning. The young man’s throat has been cut with a sharp weapon. The age of the deceased is around 30 to 35 years. It is suspected that the young man was first murdered by slitting his throat and an attempt was made to burn the body by keeping it in a box to hide his identity.
As soon as the information was received, police station in-charge Inspector Ashok Kumar reached the spot. The police along with the forensic team collected evidence from the spot and started further action.
