Bhubaneswar: For the first World Odia Language Conference, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Center in Bhubaneswar will organize a two-day conference on “Odia Language and Art and Culture of Odisha” on February 1 and 2. Many eminent linguists, researchers, litterateurs, experts, singers and dancers will participate in research-based discussions during the conference to be held in the auditorium of the research centre.
There will be two sessions on both days, one from 11 am to 2 pm and the other from 3 pm to 5 pm. Dr. Babaji Patnaik and Dr. Krishna Keshav Sarangi will speak on the first day of the conference, which will be presided over by Dr. Basant Panda and Dr. Kirtan Narayan Padhi. On the second day of discussion, Dr. Shantanu Rath and Dr. Ajay Mishra have been invited as speakers while Dr. Sharat Chandra Rath and Dr. Sanghamitra Mishra will preside. It is noteworthy that the state government will organize the World Odia Language Conference for the first time in the capital from 3 to 5 February.
