IPL 2023 : Another thrilling battle in the 16th season of IPL. The defending champion Gujarat Titans won the match which was won till the last ball. Defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 7 runs. Lucknow was restricted to 128 in a target of 136. Mohit Sharma, who bowled the 20th over, won the match with his brilliant bowling. Lucknow lost by four wickets. KL Rahul (68) scored a half century but there was no result. With that, Lucknow suffered its third defeat.
KL Rahul (68) was caught off the second ball of Mohit Sharma’s last over of 20. Stoinis was ducked on the next ball. Ayush Badoni (8) was run out after trying for two runs in the fourth ball. Deepak Hooda () was also run out in the fifth ball. 8 runs needed off the last ball. But, not a single run came. With that, Gujarat won by 7 runs.
