Saurashtra will join Tamil Sangam

In 2006, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, a delegation from Tamil Nadu visited Saurashtra University under his leadership. Realizing the resolution of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, this festival will be organized in Saurashtra from April 17 to April 30 under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. In which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start this Tamil Sangam.

Somnath temple also has a unique story

Somnath is a grand temple situated on the coast of Saurashtra in the state of Gujarat. One of the 12 holy Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva is located here in Somnath. Somnath is also mentioned in Rigveda. This temple of Somnath has stood firmly in front of many destructive foreign invaders who came with the intention of looting and converting the light of the temple.
