Gujarat: Finance Minister announced in the assembly, women legislators will get an additional grant of one crore

Pension and tax collection expenditure, power projects and retirement benefits were to be discussed during the Question Hour on Monday in the session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Along with this, Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai has made an important announcement in the assembly building. Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai announced that henceforth women legislators would be given an additional grant of one crore.

Limbayat MLA Sangeeta Patil had made this demand. The women legislators had offered in the demands of the Finance Department. Due to which these demands of women legislators have been accepted and their grant has been increased.

Information was also given in the assembly regarding dearness allowance

Apart from this, information regarding dearness allowance was also given in the assembly. In the assembly, it has been said to give the benefit of dearness allowance at the rate of 34 percent to the employees. Dearness allowance will be given as per the decision of the state government. On January 1, 2022, dearness allowance will be paid at the rate of 34 percent of the basic pay.
