Gujarat: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel flags off ‘Hanuman Yatra’ organized by Hanuman Mandir Camp Trust
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel flagged off the ‘Hanuman Yatra’ organized by the Hanuman Mandir Camp Trust on Wednesday morning from the famous camp Hanuman Mandir of the metropolis. It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav on April 6, ‘Hanuman Yatra’ has been taken out from Camp Hanuman Temple, the center of faith of the residents of the metropolis. This yatra started from Shahibagh Camp Hanuman Temple and reached Vasna Vayu Devta Temple via Shahibagh, Wadj, Usmanpura, Ashram Road, Paldi Chandranagar.
Trucks decorated with flowers and different types of tableaux were also seen in this journey.
After receiving the food offerings in the temple of Vayu Devta, the yatra left for returning to its own temple. The yatra passed through Dharnidhar, Manekbagh, Nehru Nagar, Panjrapol Char Rasta, Vijay Char Rasta, Usmanpura and RTO Subhash Bridge and reached Nij Mandir in the evening. Trucks decorated with flowers and different types of tableaux were also seen in this yatra.
MLA and many councilors and a large number of devotees were present
The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army was also present on the occasion of flagging off the Hanuman Yatra by the Chief Minister. Apart from this, Naroda MLA Payal Kukrani, Maninagar MLA Amulbhai Bhatt and many councilors and a large number of devotees were present.
