Mainpuri: Before the wedding ceremony took place in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, an accident took the life of the groom-to-be. The family members were distressed by the news. There was screams in the house. The relatives who had come to attend the wedding were consoling but the news was such that they were finding it difficult to control themselves. The wedding procession was to take place after two days.
The matter is of Nagla Vichitra village of Bhogaon police station area. Village resident Sureshchandra had fixed the marriage of his son Govind Singh (22) in village Barai of Farrukhabad district. There was an atmosphere of wedding preparations in the house. The pavilion program was on Wednesday 17th April. The wedding procession was to take place on 18th April.
Tractor hits bike
Earlier on Monday evening, Govind got a call from his would-be brother-in-law. He called Sankisa for some marriage related work. Govind took the bike and went to Sankisa. While returning home late in the evening, he was hit by a tractor near Jasrajpur in the police station area. He died on the spot in the accident.

Police arrived on the information of passers-by and identified the deceased on the basis of documents found in his pocket. Called the family and informed them about Govind’s death in the accident. As soon as the news of the death was heard, there was an outcry in the wedding house. The police conducted the post-mortem on Tuesday. The body was handed over to the family for last rites.

The atmosphere in the house was happy regarding the marriage of Govind, resident of Nagla Vichatri village. Guests have come to the house. Women were singing auspicious songs. All the family members were busy in wedding preparations. Meanwhile, there was silence in the house due to a phone call from the police. As soon as the news of Govind’s death was received on the phone, there was an outcry the very next moment. The happiness of marriage vanished in a moment. The family members reached the mortuary crying.
