Governor Ramen Deka gave a presentation on the development of tribal areas of Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka participated in the Governors’ Conference held in New Delhi from 1 to 3 August. In this conference chaired by President Smt. Draupadi Murmu, Governor Deka made a presentation on the development of aspiring districts, blocks, and border areas of tribal areas of Chhattisgarh.

He gave detailed information on the implementation of government schemes and programs for tribal development in Chhattisgarh. He told about the work being done for the development of aspiring and border areas of Chhattisgarh. The Governor especially mentioned Mudavedi village affected by Maoist activities in Bijapur district, where roads were expanded and security was increased by the administration. After this, the deprived children there are getting education. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were also present during the presentation.

During this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar and Governor Ramen Deka’s wife Rani Deka Kakoti were also present.
