The Pixel Buds Pro 2 will allegedly cost $229, €249, and £219, respectively in the US, EU, and UK. Which means it will cost $30 / €20 / £20 compared to the current Pixel Buds Pro, which was launched in 2022.
Earlier leak reports suggested, the colour options offered will be Hazel, Porcelain, Wintergreen, and Peony. However, a new report has suggested that it will be available in Charcoal, Porcelain, Aloe and Hot Pink.
Meanwhile, a recent report mentioned that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will come in Raspberry, Porcelain, Mojito, and Haze colours.
The new earbuds come with a similarly shaped but apparently slightly larger case, which may hide a bigger battery. The buds themselves will hopefully have better features than their predecessors.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be made official on August 13 during Google’s massive hardware launch event, where the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold will also be unveiled.
A recent report also mentioned that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are also expected to feature a larger cover for the microphone and grills that match the colour of the earbuds. Also, the renders showed that the upcoming Google earbuds will come with a new cut-out next to the USB-C port.
There’s no confirmation, but the Pixel Buds Pro 2 might offer a 650mAh battery, which looks like an upgrade compared to the 620mAh on the Pixel Buds Pro.
