Bihar. Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh is taking out Swabhiman Yatra to unite Hindus. This yatra, which started from Bhagalpur, has reached Purnia. Meanwhile, Giriraj Singh is furious over the incident of damaging the idols in Ram Janaki temple located in Sanhaula Bazar of Bhagalpur. He warned the Bihar Police that if needed, he would postpone his journey and go to Sanhaula.
In fact, people have come out on the road in protest against this incident. However, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused. According to the information, some anti-social elements damaged the idols in Ram Janaki temple of Sanhaula Bazar, after which anger spread among the local residents. People gathered in large numbers and raised slogans against the police administration. The uproar increased so much that the roads of the area were jammed, affecting the traffic.
When Giriraj Singh was asked to react on this entire matter, he said, “This is an incident of this morning. We were in Bhagalpur on 18 October. This attack has been carried out as part of a well-planned conspiracy. If the accused is insane, then why did he not go to attack the mosque. Three men are seen in the video footage. Congress and RJD are behind this. They want to create a riot. I want to tell the administration that if the real accused is not caught, then I will postpone my visit and go to Sanhaula. Regarding this incident, senior officials of Bhagalpur Police held a meeting with the members of the peace committee and dignitaries and took out a flag march. Bhagalpur Police has appealed to the people not to spread misleading news and rumours and said that strict legal action will be taken against them if they do so.
