Paddhar. Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that the natural beauty of the state is our heritage from the tourism point of view. It is the collective responsibility of all of us to preserve it. Along with progress, it is very important to take care of nature. Development should not happen at the cost of the beauty here. Even if tough decisions have to be taken for this, the government will not step back from it.
He said this while addressing public meetings after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating development projects worth Rs 107 crore 30 lakh in Thalout and Shivabdar of Drang assembly. During this, MP and State Congress President Pratibha Singh was also present.
Vikramaditya laid the foundation stone of the 85 meter long bridge to be built on the Panjaithachi-Shattadhar-Lambathach road over the Beas river from CRF at Thalaut. Rs 14.60 crore will be spent on building this bridge. In Thalaut itself, he performed the bhoomi pujan of the upgradation work of Panarsa to Kot Dhalayara road, Panarsa to Sojha Rahadi road and Nagwain to Palsehar Kathiyari road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase 3.
