Ghaziabad: Police conducted a campaign, checked the papers of the suspects

In Ghaziabad, on Friday, BJP MLA from Loni assembly Nandkishore Gurjar conducted a checking campaign by going to the slums. The MLA had claimed that a large number of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis have settled here. The police conducted a campaign on Saturday and checked the papers of the slums and suspicious looking people. ACP Shalimar Garden Saloni Agarwal said that many police teams are working in Ghaziabad to investigate the mixed population and suspicious people. Under this campaign, the documents of the people living on rent are being checked. Along with this, information about their business is being taken.

It is worth noting that MLA Nandkishore Gurjar has been continuously raising the issue of illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi people living in Ghaziabad’s Loni and other areas. The MLA has also complained about this to the police several times. He has also said that such illegal people are involved in most of the wrongdoings happening here. Accusing the Delhi government, he said that as part of a conspiracy, the Delhi government is also allowing more and more such illegal intruders to enter Uttar Pradesh through Ghaziabad.
