Bhilai. Starting January 14th, residents of the Vaishali Nagar Assembly constituency will now be able to get an X-ray for just one rupee. MLA Rakesh Sen launched the scheme at the MLA office on Zero Road, Shanti Nagar.
Sen stated that X-rays are crucial because they allow for quick, non-invasive, and accurate diagnosis of bone fractures, infections (such as pneumonia), tumors, dental problems, and swallowed objects. Based on these reports, doctors are able to formulate appropriate treatment plans and monitor the progress of treatment. This has saved countless lives and improved quality of life. In an effort to ensure continued development and accessible healthcare for all in the Vaishali Nagar constituency, the MLA recently launched a free blood test facility at the MLA office, which is being used by hundreds of people daily. Reports for 31 different tests are being provided based on blood samples.
MLA Rakesh Sen said that X-rays are an essential part of modern medicine, allowing healthcare providers to see inside the body and make accurate diagnoses without surgery. X-rays have become a vital tool. In addition to detecting fractures, sprains, arthritis, and joint dislocations, X-rays are essential in everyone’s lives for diagnosing pneumonia, tuberculosis, and breathing problems, for locating digestive system problems and objects trapped in the body, and for detecting breast cancer (through mammograms) and other types of tumors. Residents of the Vaishali Nagar Assembly constituency will be able to get X-rays done at the MLA’s office from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. starting January 14th, by paying a token fee of just ₹1.
