General category solvers were giving exam for reserve category candidates

Kanpur | During the examination of Village Development Officer and Gram Panchayat Officer, a new revelation has been made regarding the Salwar caught in Kanpur. Interrogating the police, the three general category accused have accepted that they had come to take the exam instead of the reserved category candidates, as their qualification was such that they could pass them.
In the interrogation of these accused, the police got a new information that the gang had given the examination for the original candidates of all the general caste salwars of the reserved category. Navneet Pandey was arrested in place of Prashant Singh at Saraswati Vidya Niketan Inter College, Ramadevi, Chakeri. Navneet, a resident of village Darautha district Maharajganj, told that he has appeared in many competitive examinations, but did not get success. He was getting that many marks every time, in which any reserved candidate would have passed. Sumit Kumar and Sonu Kumar Thakur are general category and were taking the exam for reserved category i.e. Scheduled Caste or OBC quota original candidates.
According to the investigation done by the STF regarding the solver in the examination of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission, the contract for passing the general category candidate in the examination is eight to ten lakh rupees. OBC is 5 to 7 lakh rupees and below it is 2.5 to 3.5 lakh rupees. If the general category solver gives the paper for the reserved category, then he takes more money from the gang than the general category candidate, because there is more possibility of being with the candidate.
