Bhilai. Golden Empathy (GE) Foundation, which has been active as a social organization in the steel city of Bhilai for the last decade, has now made an international presence due to its work. Last week, GE Foundation was awarded the Lokmat Global Excellence Award at an international conference held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. After receiving this award, the foundation’s conveners Pradeep Pillai and Manish Tawari expressed their gratitude and said that with the establishment of international recognition, the responsibility of their organization has increased even more.
It is noteworthy that Golden Empathy Foundation has been actively working in the field of nutrition of children and all-round development of disabled and deprived children since the year 2016. This award was given to GE Foundation at the Lokmat One World Summit and Awards 2024 held in the capital Baku, in which eminent cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu was specially present. Although Pradeep Pillai and Manish Tawari from GE Foundation could not attend this event, but during the award ceremony, the activities of GE Foundation were specially mentioned. In which the guests from India and abroad present there were informed that the unique work done for the disabled and needy children through GE Foundation presents an example of change in the society. The Foundation has not only adopted Anganwadi for the development of children but is also providing an opportunity to children suffering from physical and mental disability to show their talent through educational and cultural programs. Apart from this, the Foundation has taken important steps with positive change in the society through programs like plantation of trees, sports and distribution of stationery for children for environmental protection. There is an atmosphere of joy due to GE Foundation receiving the Lokmat Global Excellence Award. The workers associated with the Foundation and the prominent people of the region have expressed their best wishes for this achievement.
