On reaching Anuppur, Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatra was accorded a grand welcome. The women welcomed the people involved in the yatra by showering sandalwood, salutations and flowers. On this occasion, Minister of State for Steel and Panchayat Rural Development, Government of India, Faggan Singh Kulaste said that along with giving respect to Gondwana sons and heroines, the respect of the tribal society was increased by providing protection to their archaeological sites by the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Is. He said that 63 Gond kings ruled for 1400 years in the Gondwana kingdom. Maharaja Sangram Singh in 1543 AD, Raja Dalpat Shah, Raja Veer Narayan, Rani Durgavati, Raja Chandrashah, Raja Hirdeshahi, Raja Nizam Shahi and Raja Shankar Shah and Kunwar Raghunath Shah who died fighting against the British in 1857 are prominent.
He said that Rani Durgavati was married to Raja Dalpat Shah, son of Raja Sangram Shah (1543-1550 AD). After the death of her husband Dalpat Shah, Rani Durgavati ruled from 1550 to 1564. He told that during the period of Gondwana kingdom, there were 63 princely states within 52 strongholds. The Gondwana rulers did many works of development, including swimming pools, agriculture as well as civil development, conservation, which are still living examples. He said that Rani Durgavati won 51 wars. May the coming generations be aware of the glory of such a heroine. He said that the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh have done the work of preserving the heritage along with construction of many monuments, museums to make people aware of the memory of the rulers of Gondwana Kingdom. Describing the work being done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as remarkable, he informed about the welfare works. On this occasion, he announced that Veerangana Rani Durgavati is immortal.
