Ganja smugglers’ car collided with the bridge, they were running away after seeing the police

Bilaspur. In Bilaspur, a car-borne ganja smuggler escaped after dodging the police. Actually, the police had set up a blockade to catch him. But as soon as the smuggler saw the police, he started driving the car at speed. When the policemen chased him, the car collided with a bridge on the way, after which the driver abandoned the car and ran away towards the fields. Police have recovered 49 kg of ganja worth Rs 4 lakh 49 thousand from the car. The incident took place in Sarkanda police station area.

Police received information that some people were transporting ganja in a black-silver colored car number CG 10 BF 4924 near Birkona on Mopka Bypass Road. As soon as the news was received, the police team became active and set up a blockade point near Khaprakhol on Mopka Road, where the police team was checking the vehicles. During this time an attempt was made to stop the car. But, as soon as the driver saw the police, he started speeding away.

During this time the police team chased the car. Seeing the policeman chasing him, the driver started running faster. Due to this, the speeding car collided with the bridge near Baima Nagoi, after which it ran away towards the fields leaving the driver behind. Police claim that they even ran into the fields to catch the driver. But, he escaped taking advantage of the bushes.
