A special team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit has been formed to take effective action against the Narcotics Act and all police station in-charges have been directed to take strict action against those who sell and supply intoxicants.
In this series, police station Ganj received information that a person is keeping ganja with him near railway station gate number 02 under police station Ganj area and is looking for a customer to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City Shri Lakhan Patle and City Superintendent of Police Kotwali Yogesh Sahu verified the information and directed Police Station Incharge Ganj Inspector Deepak Paswan to catch the accused red handed with ganja. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Ganj, the team of Police Station Ganj and RPF went to the said place and identified and arrested one person of the same description as described by the informer.
During interrogation, the person revealed his identity as Ayush Kumar Pandey, father Vijay Kumar Pandey, age 19 years, Sakin Mahadevan Tola, near Onix Mall, Police Station Bagulaganj Chowki, Police Station Kotwali District Fatehgarh Uttar Pradesh. When the team members searched the travel bag kept with him, he found ganja in the bag. Found to be. On which the team members arrested the accused and seized 07 kg 100 grams of Ganja Jumla worth approximately Rs 71,000/- from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 195/2024 under Section 20B Narcotics Act in Police Station Ganj.
