Ganja found during search of car at Pachpedi Naka, smuggler arrested

Raipur. Inter-state Ganja smuggler Chiranjeevi Nayak from Odisha has been arrested in Raipur while smuggling Ganja. The team of Anti Crime and Cyber ​​Unit received information that a person riding a four-wheeler near the road in front of Pujari Park under Thana Kotwali area has Ganja with him and is trying to sell it.

On which, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber ​​Unit and Thana Kotwali Police went to the said place and traced the four-wheeler mentioned by the informer and identified the vehicle and caught the person riding in the vehicle. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Chiranjeevi Nayak, resident of district Kalahandi (Odisha). When the team members searched his car, ganja was found kept in the car. On which the accused was arrested and 05 kg 156 grams of ganja and Amaze car number OD/08/L/6600 used in transporting ganja, total worth about Rs. 5,50,000/- were seized from his possession and action was taken by registering crime number 195/24 section 20B Narcotics Act against the accused in Kotwali police station.
